On June 18–19 this year, think tank representatives from across the EPICENTER Network gathered in Bucharest for their annual away day. EPICENTER is a Brussels-based organization bringing together 13 of the leading free-market think tanks in Western, Central, and Eastern Europe, and INESS is proud to count itself among its members.
Representing INESS at this year’s gathering was our director, Richard Ďurana. As always, the agenda centered on taking stock of joint projects undertaken since the last meeting and the mark they’ve left on public debate and policy, both back home and in Brussels, alongside planning what’s next and hashing out bilateral partnerships between the think tanks involved. Underpinning it all was a shared commitment to the EPICENTER Network’s core mission, and that of its members: championing greater freedom and a more prosperous Europe.
This year’s away day also marked a milestone: Romania’s IES-Europe was formally welcomed into the EPICENTER Network as its newest member, capping off years of close collaboration. Congratulations to them, and we’re looking forward to what comes next!
